The Brokers Edge (TBE) is a real estate portal and community for real estate professionals and vendors that cater to the real estate industry. Our Forums and Blogs are not intended for participation by the general public although the public may view many of our public areas without becoming a Member.

Our Real Estate Forums and Blogs are designed to promote real estate professionals and their businesses. Vendors that cater to the real estate industry are encouraged to participate in our Forums and Blogs to promote their services and or products to our Members that are Real Estate Professionals. There are no limits or products and services that are “off limits” due to being perceived as TBE product competition.

SPAM Policy

Spamming the Forums or Blogs is an offence that will get you permanently banned. The use of our Forums or Blogs to propagate spam techniques or linking strategies to manipulate the Search Engines will get you permanently banned.

The Brokers Edge adheres to and whole heartedly supports the Google Webmaster Guidelines.

Code of Ethics

We believe that as a Real Estate Community that the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice should be adhered to at all times.

Forum Rules

1. Be civil to other Members. TBE does not only allow debate, we encourage it as long as it is conducted in a civil manner and does not become personal.
2. Fowl language is not acceptable.
3. No reposting or duplications of posts to other forums.
4. No posting of link exchanges or linking schemes.
5. Self promotion is allowed for active Members only. One post wonders will be deleted.
6. Forum signatures are limited to 4 links after 20 posts.
7. Thread “hi-jacking” is not permitted. Keep on topic or start a new thread.
8. Multiple accounts are not permitted.
9. Steering Members to competing real estate forums is unacceptable.
10. Abbreviated posts such as “I agree”, “Welcome”, “Great read” and so on are discouraged. If you do not have something to post that contributes to the conversation, please do not post.
