About The Brokers Edge

The Brokers Edge is a consortium of REALTORS® and programming engineers that have specialized in the real estate industry for decades.

Our original CEO Rhonda McMillan, was one of the first Missouri Real Estate Brokers to recognize the potential of the Internet and had her husband Mack create her first real estate website in 1994. At the time Mack owned and operated an AT&T Service Bureau but soon closed shop to work with Rhonda at the family operated real estate office as a licensed real estate Broker.

Rhonda continuously searched for better systems to manage her real estate leads on her #1 ranked real estate site for Missouri. All applications failed to deliver as promised and came up painfully short of what Rhonda felt was required to assist Agents in lead and time management.

Mack began testing MLS/IDX systems in early 1998. In 2000 he became a consultant for the MLS Committee at the South Central Board Of REALTORS® in Rolla Missouri. It was there that he met Doug Ballance that would eventually become the IDX/RETS Project Manager for the Brokers Edge.

Al Rosson, a Tulsa Oklahoma REALTOR®, first met Mack in 2004 and worked with Mack on the development of the Pro Real Estate Network Forum in 2005 and in 2006 formally joined the Brokers Edge Team as Vice President of Marketing. In addition to his duties as VP, Al has also worked diligently with the programming staff and has tested the system with his personal teams of approximately 30 agents for almost 2 years. In June of 2008, it was proposed that The Brokers Edge use its proven software in businesses other than real estate. So with the business taking on an entirely new directive Al Rosson agreed to step in as CEO/Co-Chairman in August of 2008 at the request of Rhonda McMillan who remains actively engaged as our President.

Jared Ritchey joined The Brokers Edge team as Chief Designer in 2006 and has been instrumental in design and server administration troubleshooting. Jared hails from the Seattle area but plans on relocating to Corporate Headquarters in Columbia Missouri sometime in 2008.

A New Real Estate Portal

Rhonda launched the Brokers Edge in 2005 to serve as a real estate portal and repository for industry tools and software. With the time constraints created by her Brokerage growth of TBE has admittedly been slow, but steady. “As we continue to add staff we are starting to see a snowball effect on TBE” says Rhonda.

It is our vision to see The Brokers Edge become a complete real estate portal offering 1 stop shopping for real estate Agents looking for real solutions at an affordable price. Unlike other portals we do not discourage competing vendors from offering products and/or services. In fact we encourage it. True competition increases quality while reducing prices.

The Ultimate Client Resource Manager

While the UltimateIDX™ has been in various stages of development since 2000, it was not formally launched until 2006. In 2007 the team at the Brokers Edge relocated to Columbia Missouri for better access to local networks and trained staff.

Both the UltimateIDX™ and UltimateRETS™ systems have successfully and securely managed thousands of real estate leads and have assisted Agents in closing millions of dollars in real estate transactions. We would love to help you do the same.
